Mobile Urban Kitchen
2020
A flexible place where food culture can be experienced together. By using the MOKIT connector system, the Mobile Urban Kitchen has a modular construction that offers mobility and expandability. The main focus of the Mobile Urban Kitchen is the cooking counter. It is used for preparing and serving dishes. Integrated containers offer space to stow all the necessary cooking utensils as well as food, cutlery, and crockery. A recessed, gas-operated cooking element puts the focus on cooking and provides a view of the processes. With the help of two wheels, the kitchen can be rolled like a wheelbarrow, which enables short-distance transport within the city.
Developed together with chef Tade Assel.
