Von Herzen aus Idlib

The exhibition "Von Herzen, aus Idlib" of the Heinrich Böll Foundation shows snapshots and stories from the destroyed Syria in the St. Nikolai Church in Kiel. The basis is the moving photo diary of the Syrian photographer Tim Alsiofi. In extraordinary pictures Alsiofi not only shows the horrors of war, destruction and death. His photographs and texts also tell of the beauty and joy of life. The texts for the exhibition were written by Hani Al Sawah, Syrian rapper and writer.
